Hand Exercises

**Warning:If you have any increase in pain, dizziness, trouble breathing, or begin to feel sick with exercises, stop and contact your doctor.

Wrist Stretch

1) Grasp the hand of the wrist you are stretching with the palm facing outward.
Extend your elbow while pulling your wrist and fingers upward with the opposite hand. Hold 10 seconds and relax.

2) Grasp the hand of the wrist you are stretching with the palm facing inward.
Extend your elbow while pulling your wrist and fingers downward with the opposite hand. Hold 10 seconds and relax.


 

Triceps Stretch 1

Lift up your right hand with elbow bending. Reach your back with the palm of your hand and hold 10 seconds. Then repeat the same motion with your right hand for 10 seconds.


 

 

 

 

Triceps Stretch 2

Rest your left arm at your side and then reach your back with the palm of your hand. Hold this stance for 10 seconds and then repeat with your right hand for another 10 seconds.

 

 

 

Across Body

1) Grasp left shoulder with right hand and your elbow is bending. Hold onto right elbow with your left hand.

 

 

 

 

 

2) Rotate your head to the right and hold still for 10 seconds. Repeat this motion in the opposite direction and hold for 10 seconds.
